Practice of working with children with disabilities can be easily adapted. The specific of the project is trained staff, good

liaisons with local authorities and a wide partnership network. The current project is implemented with the friendly

assistance of the City of Vienna and supported by the Austrian Red Cross. Now another phase of the project is under

development. The idea is the same of improving educational capacities of children with disabilities and using alternative

educational techniques like animal therapy, but it is planned to add a component of early intervention in working with

children with disabilities, as well as enhancing work with children with autistic syndrome. The minimum cost of project

activities per year is 20,000 EUR, which is cost effective because the results in improving state of health and

communication skills of the beneficiaries are visible.
