ACTS ABOUT SIZE AND SCOPE

1)

A 2,128 CWDs enrolled in formal primary schools and they are continuing their studies

2)

Total 402 teachers of formal primary schools have been provided training on Inclusive Education

3)

A total of 10 Inclusive Education Resource Center has been established for Children With Disabilities to get training

on sign language & brail and physiotherapy & activities on daily living (for ID child) support

UTLOOK

Primary education policy & curriculum, Teachers training curriculum and Textbook should be reviewed to identify gaps

considering inclusive education & disability aspect. Based on gaps necessary initiatives should be taken to update the

above-mentioned areas.
