This website is the official website of Beit Issie Shapiro Association – Avi Association, Reg. No. 580071850 (hereinafter: “Beit Issie Shapiro” or “Beit Issie”) and allows donations to the association.

Any use of this website, including making donations, constitutes agreement to act in accordance with these terms. Please read these terms carefully.

All references in the masculine form also apply to the feminine, and vice versa, and all references in the singular also apply to the plural, and vice versa.

Beit Issie Shapiro reserves the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Any changes will take effect upon publication on the website. Upon each visit, users may review the most current version of the Terms of Use. In any case where significant changes are made to the privacy policy concerning the use of personal information you provide, a notice will be published on the website’s homepage.

  1. Beit Issie Shapiro – Avi Association allows donations through this website for the benefit of the association’s goals and needs in an easy, convenient, and quick manner. The website’s payment processor complies with PCI standards.
  2. The user making the transaction may contact the association to request a change to billing details or to cancel a transaction. A transaction can be canceled in accordance with the Consumer Protection Law, 1981 (and the regulations enacted thereunder) within 14 days from the date the donation notice was delivered by phone and/or completed online at Tel.: 09-7701238. The association will implement the requested change according to the policies of the credit card company at the time. If the credit card company charges the association a fee for the transaction, the user will also be charged the corresponding fee.
  3. Providing false information during a transaction constitutes a criminal offense. Beit Issie Shapiro is not responsible and will not be responsible for any misuse, unauthorized use, or unlawful use of credit card details provided for the transaction/payment.
  4. The association protects the privacy of donors and does not store users’ credit card information. The website operator may use users’ personal information only for internal purposes and for direct communication with the user. The website operator shall not be considered in violation of privacy obligations or infringing user privacy for any information, as defined in the Computer Law, 1995, that may identify a user or allow tracking by others through the use of electronic communications, including computer communications. The website operator does not share personally identifying information about users with third parties. Nevertheless, the website operator may share such information if required by law or by any legal proceeding, request, or summons directed to it by the Israeli Police and/or courts, subject to applicable law.
  5. Information about users is collected during the use of the website. Some of this information personally identifies the user, such as name, address, services searched for on the site, etc. This information is knowingly provided by the user, including during registration, if registration is required. Some information does not personally identify the user and is not stored with personal details—this is statistical and aggregated information about the user (for example, ads clicked on, pages viewed, services and content of interest, actions performed on the site, time spent on the site, IP address, geographic location, technology used (hardware and software), and source of access to the site).
  6. During the use of the website, “session cookies” may be used for its proper and smooth operation, including collecting statistical data about website usage, verifying details, and for security purposes.   8. Without limiting the above, if personal details are required for registration to services on the site, providing them is voluntary and subject to the user’s free consent. Users will be requested to provide the following information as a condition for inclusion in the list of details collected and processed for direct mailing of advertising, educational, and professional material relevant to the service chosen:

    • Contact information, including phone number and email
    • Additional details depending on the chosen service, e.g., CV
  9. For professional use, the following additional details will also be required: organization name, role, and country of employment.
  10. Without providing the requested information, Beit Issie Shapiro cannot provide the chosen services, including website use. If you do not agree with Beit Issie Shapiro’s privacy policy, please refrain from using the association’s services, including browsing the site or any other use related to the association’s activities.
  11. The collected data will be stored in Beit Issie’s database and under its responsibility. Contact with users will be carried out only in accordance with this privacy policy or applicable law, for purposes including enabling site use, improving services and content offered, modifying or canceling existing services and content, allowing publication of information and content, enabling direct mailing, and creating services and content tailored to users’ preferences and expectations.
  12. Information used by Beit Issie will include statistical data but primarily personally identifying information. Additionally, the details provided by users during registration will be collected, stored, processed, and used by Beit Issie to provide information, respond to inquiries, and provide content about Beit Issie’s activities on various topics, including via electronic messages.
  13. By consenting to receive direct mail, the user agrees that Beit Issie may use the provided details for direct mailing and services related to Beit Issie, its content, services, and activities, including confirmations of user actions and/or advertisements as defined in the Israeli Communications Law (Amendment No. 40), 2008, via email, postal address, and/or SMS, unless the user notifies otherwise.
  14. Users have no claim or demand against Beit Issie regarding receiving any direct mailing, including advertising. Users may at any time notify Beit Issie in writing via email at info@beitissie.org.il of their wish to opt out of receiving direct mailing, including advertising. Such requests will be handled automatically; unclear or incomplete requests may take longer to process.
  15. Beit Issie may allow other companies to manage advertisements on the website. Ads viewed on the site may come from these companies’ servers. These companies may use cookies to manage their ads and collect information about ad interactions. Their use of cookies is subject to their privacy policies, not this site’s privacy policy.
  16. The website may include content, advertisements, photos, texts, videos, etc. (hereinafter: “Information” or “Content”) provided by third parties (e.g., artists, art institutions, content creators). Unauthorized use of such content may violate intellectual property rights of these third parties.
  17. Users must comply with applicable law, including defamation law, privacy law, copyright law, in good faith, and with personal responsibility. Beit Issie is not responsible for breaches of intellectual property law, copyright violations, defamation, privacy violations, or other legal breaches caused by third-party content.
  18. Users may copy website content only as explicitly permitted and for personal use, not for marketing, advertising, or commercial purposes.
    Beit Issie protects information with advanced security systems as required by law. The website is ISO 27001 certified. However, Beit Issie cannot guarantee absolute immunity from hacking, unauthorized access, or uncontrolled leaks. Users have no claims if third parties access or misuse information maliciously.
  19. Under Israeli law, individuals may access their personal information and request corrections or deletions if inaccurate. Such requests should be sent to info@beitissie.org.il.
  20. Copyright and intellectual property on the website, services, and included information are owned by Beit Issie Shapiro or third parties who authorized its use.   23. Beit Issie endeavors to ensure site information is accurate and up-to-date, but omissions or errors may occur, for which the association assumes no responsibility. Services are not guaranteed to be uninterrupted or immune to unauthorized access, damages, malfunctions, hardware or software failures, or communication line issues.
  24. The association is legally registered with tax authorities and has proper management approval from the Registrar of Associations. Users must be legally competent to perform binding actions. Minors (under 18) or legally incapable users must have guardian approval.
  25. The association may block users from making donations in cases of illegal acts, violation of these terms, false information, or acts/omissions harming the association, third parties, or the website’s proper operation. Violators may face legal, civil, and criminal proceedings.
  26. Interpretation and enforcement of these terms, or any disputes arising from them, shall be governed by Israeli law and adjudicated in competent courts.
