FACTS ABOUT SIZE AND SCOPE
In the 2014/15 school year, there were 10 secondary school students and 1 primary school pupil participating in the
project.
OUTLOOK
For some students, the individual work done in the laboratories of the Integrated Plan Gandhi, along with the work
done with the classes of both the primary and secondary schools will result in more time spent in the schools. It will not
be possible for all children and young people with disabilities to be placed in an inclusive environment immediately
because some pupils, precisely because of their disabilities and especially during the preteen and teen years, require a
specific program to be followed at best to become integrated within the class. The project provides opportunities to
meet, work and share experiences with peers by developing both in the classroom and outside of the school to acquire
necessary social skills.
