ACTS ABOUT SIZE AND SCOPE



Thanks to the project "The Supermarket" Ms. Boscolo (who nominated this project), received the award of "Best

Teacher of the Year" and has been included among the 50 best teachers in the world by the Varkey Foundation in

the competition "The Global Teacher Prize ".



The project model of "The Supermarket" was also applied in other schools.



The project “Alternating School and Work” for all has had a big influence the employees of the company that,

through contact with young people with disability have discovered a new dimension of disability and work.

OUTLOOK



The supermarket set up in the school became a real learning environment where academic disciplines were taught

in reality: mathematics, business administration (budgets), the expenditure was made in foreign languages (French,

English and German). Moreover, they learned about specialized topics such as workers' rights in the context of the

code of conduct of a "Supermarket" environment.



The “Special Masterchef” project has been realized thanks to the collaboration of a local restaurant where students

were able to follow training sessions on food preparation and about serving customers. The project concluded with

a gala dinner organized by the Rotary Club Porto Viro-Po Delta, during which they served at the tables and were

rewarded for their efforts, with a diploma. The project also saw the creation of a cookbook.
