The volume of work was extremely high so the team had to develop a unique workflow in order to be able to

produce the full curriculum of the first year for nine different vocational courses.

UTLOOK

The total cost of books is in average 70% lower; consequently, students' families report sensitive savings.

Thanks to the interactive textbooks, contents are constantly up-to-date and in line with the latest technologies and

production processes. Normally, in fact, traditional textbooks for vocational subjects are not updated as the publishers

find that specific content is not practical due to a smaller market in comparison with the big main subjects (ex: math,

literature , history etc.).

Students with special educational needs participated to the project in many ways. They were involved in the content

creation – students from graphic design course created several illustrations, others from mechanical operator courses

created certain mechanical parts, which were included in the books, and in general, they participated to the videos

recording at their laboratories.
