ACTS ABOUT SIZE AND SCOPE

1)

The “Parent-School Cooperation” model established in the frame of the project was approved by the National

Curriculum Department of the MoES. Institutionalization of “Parent-School Cooperation” has been discussed in

2013 by the MoES.

2)

Total 223 people: teachers, representatives of school administrations and parents were given the opportunity to

develop skills and abilities in general education and particularly in Inclusive Education

Experience of seven countries in the field of “Parent-School Cooperation” is studied and best practice adapted and

reflected into the model.

UTLOOK

The main output of the project was development of school and family cooperation concept and its institutionalization,

and was reflected in the national curriculum. Which means that if during the project implementation period the concept

developed within the project was applied only in six schools of three regions, now it is mandatory for up to 2.200 public

schools throughout Georgia. As a result of the project 125 inclusive education coordinators, psychologists and teachers

have increased their skills in inclusive education
