1. This project is being conducted for five States, in 16 school districts at 64 schools
2. We are influencing 25,644 students in the U.S just within the first 3 years of our project. Our work leads to
sustainable policy reform through staff and stakeholder investment, therefore its long-term benefit is exponential
OUTLOOK
This project is intended to be easily replicable, scalable and adaptable for any organization or country to implement.
The tools highlighted include many enclosed documents to support the implementation. This project is mainly focused
on the necessity of policy analysis and alignment to support the implementation of evidence based practices for
inclusive education. While the policy analysis is based upon a rigorous and engaging protocol and methodology, this
rigor has provided a framework to objectively view and measure certain policies as either facilitators or barriers to
inclusive reform. This provides a guideline for other organizations in other countries, yet it is still adaptable depending
on government structure.
The cost of implementation is accrued mainly through human resources. In many instances, it takes a significant
amount of time to locate and cross-reference publically available policy documents. This would be especially true in
developing countries. However, the benefit of bringing awareness to the necessity of publically available documents
that align with inclusive practices add further benefit to the project.
