ACTS ABOUT SIZE AND SCOPE

Currently, ATN is managing over 60-70% of U.S. universities and college requests for digital files; has over 20,000

files stored for immediate download; and, 2,300 post-secondary institutions are members of ATN. There is no

membership fee; ATN services are freely available.

ATN expects to exceed 100,000 requests for digital files by the end of 2015, an increase of 7% over last year,

compared to 22,000 requests received in 2010.

Currently, an estimated 92% of the college textbook market is a part of the ATN

O

UTLOOK

The future growth and development of ATN and its Document Accessibility Profiler are excellent in the U.S. as the

service continues grow by a rate of 7% or more each year. The perspective for growth of ATN-like services in other

countries is possible: the service is replicable and scalable as a business model for others to explore to make educational

content readily available to students with disabilities and the providers serving them.
