VERALL GOAL

/

MISSION

People with disabilities often face barriers that prevent them from learning and participation in the different

educational levels and work life. Through the model of Inclusive Education, people with disabilities are granted the

academic, technological and logistical support necessary for them to advance successfully through educational levels.

This way they can pursue a professional career and incorporate successfully into labor market.

T

HE SOLUTION THAT HAS BEEN DEVELOPED

The program supports students with disabilities on the basis of technological tools, academic and logistic backing and

educational programs to enable them to enter the labor market. The school groups consist of students with and without

disabilities, who are taught together by the same curriculum. The systems and academic evaluation criteria apply

equally to all students. The main support services provided to people with disabilities embody facility adaption for

accessibility requirements, specialized material and equipment, personnel training to teachers, technicians,

administrative assistants, teacher assistants and consultants. The academic support service offers private funds for

economic support, a free transport, psychological and pedagogic advice, diagnostic and psychological orientation and a

linking with job markets. Further on “facilitators” – graduates without disabilities from the last semester who support

the graduates – can be enrolled who support the graduates with disabilities in different academic activities.
