Eight individuals received tailor-made assistive solutions that they use on a daily basis. In order to produce more

devices, a different manufacturing strategy needs to be developed.

UTLOOK

The project team wants to improve dissemination and PR-activities in order to raise public awareness for the tools and

their uses. The planned crowd-funding platform would therefore be a valuable tool to spread the ideas and engage

many more individuals who can afford to build a FLipMouse or a FABI device to help other people who need this

technology. As more and more people with disabilities demonstrate the successful use, applications can be adopted by

more organizations and/or countries. By using local knowledge and manufacturing resources, the most cost-effective

model of implementation will be found.
