The inclusive education campaign at the Uganda Society for Disabled Children has been growing since 2011. The society

did projects concerning violence in and around schools and made a campaign to increase the completion rates of these

children especially at a primary school level. It is seen as more cost effective to spread inclusive education because then

the government does not have to qualify special teachers for special schools and should not have to promote exclusion

only to plan again for the reintegration of children with disabilities. Instead, it is stated that the government should

invest in ICT to enable all pupils to use these to support each other. Pupils that cannot cope with the curriculum should

be able to pursue alternatives within their school and community environment.
