Fundal has a dynamic and committed team dedicated to developing the full potential of people with deafblindness and
multiple disabilities. They do this through education and life skills training, working with love and respect, so that these
people may occupy their rightful position as worthy and dignified members of society.
Responsible, inclusive education for students with deafblindness and / or sensory impairment associated with other
disabilities.
Promote family , educational , cultural and social inclusion for people with deafblindness and / or sensory
impairment associated with other disabilities in Guatemalan society .
Provide training to the educational sector on responsible inclusive education for people with deafblindness and / or
sensory impairment associated with other disabilities.

HE SOLUTION THAT HAS BEEN DEVELOPED
Fundal has provided support "side by side " with the educational community , providing training and awareness
activities. They have contextualized curriculum adjustments taking into account the geographical location, climate ,
culture, language and idiosyncrasies . It works from the head of the Ministry of Education to the teaching staff, peers
and parents of classmates .
