VERALL GOAL

MISSION

Main goal of “Bontonček” project (the rules or etiquette or how to be friends with everybody) is through Culture of

Coexisting workshops and other activities inform about disability and reach everybody, because disability is a very real

part of our society and people with disabilities live and work among us.

We also want to show how disabled people can live “normal” life and do things like everybody else with help of the

personal assistance.

HE SOLUTION THAT HAS BEEN DEVELOPED

People need to have the contact with disabled people, if possible in early childhood, so that discomfort by meeting

disabled person later on will be smaller. That is why we developed Culture of Coexisting workshops (for everybody, but

most of them are taking place in primary schools) where children have opportunity to see the life of people with various

disabilities by doing different exercises and playing various games (learning through fun). Each workshop includes at

least one disabled person that children (or others) can ask anything they want, they can try sitting on the wheelchair or

help pushing it over polygon, learn how the white cane is used, they cover their eyes and play chess or other game with

blind person and many more. They can also get to know the work of personal assistance because personal assistants are

also a part of workshop.
