Fundraising Operations Specialist

*Job Description*

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team, overseeing the life cycle of donor giving and recognition, maintain CRMs, and various administrative projects, processes and tasks to support the fundraising operation at Beit Issie Shapiro.

*The ideal candidate will be responsible for*

Financial Reporting & Analysis: Collect and consolidate income and other data from global fundraising organizations, preparing comprehensive reports for leadership

Income & Cashflow Management: Prepare and maintain monthly income projections and cash flow forecasts

CRM Management: Update and manage financial and other records and lists in CRM systems; maintaining clean and current data systems; tracking daily donations and generating detailed reports

Budget & Expense Oversight: Oversee the departmental budget, track and report expenses, process reimbursements, and maintain petty cash records

Online Giving Support: Monitor online giving platforms, troubleshoot issues, and serve as a point of contact for platform providers

Donor Relations & Administration: Coordinate donor visits, manage calendars where necessary, and handle logistics. Support donor stewardship activities, tracking interactions, donor giving and recognition of donors

General Office Management: Perform general administrative duties to support smooth office operations

*Requirements*

Language Skills: Native proficiency in English and good Hebrew skills

Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially

Excel (advanced level preferred), PowerPoint, and Outlook

CRM Experience: Prior experience managing or utilizing CRMs to track donations and generate reports.
Experience with DonorPerfect – preferred; with Bloomerang – helpful

Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and external partners

Project Management: Proven experience in handling multiple tasks and deadlines, with strong organizational skills

Experience: Previous experience working in a nonprofit environment, preferably in a similar role within global fundraising operations
